*2005 Panda Debate*
Every year, the CUDS and the University of Ottawa English Debating
Society hold the Panda Debate - in the tradition of past
Carleton/Ottawa U showdowns, the Panda Debate is an informal
tournament where novice or inexperienced debaters will pair up with
an experienced debater and face off against teams from the EDS. In
last year's Panda Debate, EDS won, taking home the coveted stuffed
Panda. Let's win it back this year!
This year's Panda Debate will be held this weekend January 14
(evening) and 15 (day). We will start at 6:30pm on Friday at
Carleton. Saturday rounds will take place at the University of
Ottawa. If you are interested, please contact
*vpdebate(a)carletondebate.org* <mailto:vpdebate@carletondebate.org>
immediately. You may also sign up at

any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
*LAST CALL! McGill Winter Carnival*
The McGill Winter Carnival tournament will be held January 21 - 23
in Montreal. The tournament is one of the best tournaments on the
circuit and has teams from both Canada and the United States
competing. We intend to send 3 teams and 1 judge. If you would
like to sign up for this tournament, please contact the VP Debate,
Jessica, at *vpdebate(a)carletondebate.org*
