CONSTRUCTIVE POINTS
1. Re-voting Information
1. The CUDS executive has found out that a proxy vote for the presidential
race at the AGM was not counted because the
president(a)carletondebate.orgemail account was full and bouncing
emails. Since the race was so close and
the missing proxy vote would have changed the outcome, it has been decided
that in the interest of fairness to both candidates, a re-vote will be held
for next year's CUDS president. Additionally, because the constitution
allows unsuccessful presidential candidates to run for other positions, it
will be necessary to have a re-vote for the remainder of the executive as
well.
The re-vote for all positions will be held this coming Wednesday evening,
April 5th, at the regularly scheduled meeting time and place. Voting will
be open to all eligible members, and those not able to attend can relate
instructions regarding proxy votes (either directed or undirected) by email
to BOTH the president ( president(a)carletondebate.org) and the VP admin (
vpadmin(a)carletondebate.org) or in person to either.
Any questions regarding eligibility, voting procedure, or proxy voting can
also be sent to the president or VP admin. We hope to see you out.
