your platform on the CUSIDnet forum. It would also be beneficial, if you
are
interested in running for an executive position, if you would examine
Article V of the Constitution so that you are aware of the voting procedure.
Please also note that all amendments to the Constitution must pass with a
2/3 majority of those present and voting.
2. Call for volunteers
Only five days remain until the Carleton University Debating Society will be
hosting the 2006 National Debating Championships on the weekend of March
17-20th. Over 150 of the country's top debaters will be flocking to our
humble university to compete, and an event like this takes many people to
make sure it runs smoothly and successfully. If you can give us a hand, it
would be much appreciated as we need people to do everything from being
runners to preparing food and so on for the weekend. If you can help, please
email volunteer(a)nats2006.com. You will be fed throughout the weekend and
invited to some of the excellent social events (all ages).
People are specifically needed for Friday evening and Saturday, so even if
you are only available for part of the weekend, send us an email if you
would like to help us out.
