1. CUDS is looking for people who are willing to billet debaters from
across the country during the National Championships at Carleton from March
17-19. If you have any couches or floor space available and want to help
our fellow debaters save some money on hotels, either email the exec at
exec(a)carletondebate.org or post on CUSIDnet with the amount of spaces you
have.
2. Call for volunteers
The National Championships at Carleton are coming up soon, and CUDS is
looking for volunteers to help us out with everything from judging to
picking up food and other things that are essential to hosting a smooth and
successful tournament. If you are available on any day from March 17-19,
please email volunteer(a)nats2006.com to let us know.
3. The annual Panda debate which showcases the best of Carleton and Ottawa
U. debate will take place this coming Friday and Saturday. Panda is always
a great chance to hone debating skills and meet our cross-town rivals in a
competitive and friendly atmosphere, and the socials afterwards are always
incredible. The Friday debates will take place at Ottawa U., with Carleton
hosting the Saturday rounds, and we will be meeting on Friday at Ottawa U.
in 125 Simard at 5:30 PM.
