Watch the Xerxes Cup Finals
The CU Debating Society's annual Xerxes Cup high school tournament is this weekend -
Friday and Saturday. The final rounds start at 4:00 on Saturday in room 360 of the Tory
Building. If you are interested in seeing some great debaters performing at the top of
their game, please come out and watch these final rounds (they'll take about 1.5
hours). Everyone is welcome. There is no need to register. More details are available
on the tournament's web site
xerxes.CarletonDebate.org.
Where and when Volunteers should arrive for the weekend's tournament
All judges and everyone who wants to volunteer this weekend at our high school tournament
- the Xerxes Cup - should come to the Tory Building lobby at 4:00pm on Friday (our
registration table will be near "the egg" - 360 Tory). At this time, we'll
have training for judges and tell everyone about the schedule for the weekend.
a.. If you can't come at that time, and haven't already done so, please let us
know
b.. If anyone can make it out earlier, please do come. Registration starts at 3:30.
We'll be in that location from about 3:00 onwards.
c.. The tournament schedule is posted on the tournament's website
xerxes.CarletonDebate.org
Our volunteer coordinator, Greta Hall, can be reached via email at
