Hey Folks,
This post is concerning changes in our registration process for a web
site account. Over the last few months we have been battling many SPAM
related user accounts. It takes too much energy for our volunteers to
filter through the lengthy SPAM lists to keep going this route.
Some content on the website is restricted to registered users such as
the discussion forums which are more subject specific than this list.
Also, there are specific tools and pages available to the WEB and @HOME
refurb teams such as our inventory tracking system.
If you have tried creating an account on the website and have not been
granted access yet we have closed off automatic registration for the
time being.
If you would like a regular account to access the dicussion forums or a
team specific account for the WEB or @HOME REFURB teams please request
an account through this list.
Please just indicate you preferred userID and if you already belong to a
team please mention which one.
Our Web Admin volunteers will then create an account for you and send
you the credential information.
When the web team has some spare cycles (aka time) they will work
towards implementing a more automated approach to validating human
accounts.
We thank you for your patience as we try to keep C4C web resources
relatively SPAM free.
Cheers
