[C4C-discussion] C4C Fundraising Meeting: Tuesday August 30 6:30-8:30

Hey Folks, C4C is building a team to lead C4C's fundraising efforts. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by this spring. That's a big goal and we need your help. If anyone on this list is interested in helping C4C with its annual fundraising efforts this is your chance. We will also update our progress through our announcement list as well. Right now we are looking for people to lead specific activities. So self starters and leaders wanting to take on some responsibility. These leads will organize events, lead and train volunteer teams, make cold calls on the phone and build relationships with our partners. We are also looking for proposal and grant writers. If you are interested in helping to support activities such as door-to-door canvasing or helping to support events let me know and we will loop you in once we have leads for these activities. We are holding a meeting Tuesday August 30, 2011 from 6:30-8:30. We already have a decent crowd but we can accommodate a couple of more people physically. We can also handle a few more people with our teleconference number. If you are interested in attending please RSVP off list at computers.communities(a)gmail.com and let me know if you will attend physically, virtually or if you are interested in helping out later. I look forward to meeting up with some of you. NOTE: If you are interested in contributing financially we have a paypal donation account available through our home page.
