Ottawa Eco Fair , September 17, 2011, Carleton University Fieldhouse
Hey Folks,
C4C is looking for 2 volunteers to organize the C4C presence at this
years Ottaw EcoFair. C4C has attended this event in the past and it
proved to be quite usefull for newtworking and sharing what we are
doing.
Participating in this event fulfils our educational mandate and
communicates our environmental impacts of keeping e-waste out of
landfills and also maximizing technology use instead of pre-mature
obsolescence.
To make this event success in addition to 2 volunteer co-coordinators we
will also need 4 volunteers for each Saturday and Sunday to fill 2 daily
shifts. One in the AM and the second in the PM with an overlap during
lunch which was a peak time in the past.
All volunteers will be briefed on the previous years event and some
recommended changes this time around.
I look forward to hearing from all interested volunteers.
Cheers
