Computers for Communities (C4C) is an Ottawa-based non-profit that seeks to bridge the digital divide by helping those people who cannot access technology by exchanging volunteer hours, and through partnerships like the one with Habitat NCR. C4C has committed 10 computers to Habitat for Humanity National Capital Region partnership families. It has delivered six computers and is working to distribute the remaining four in the coming months. Tiree has committed $75,000 towards the building of Tiree House. **This Carleton Place build will start in late September with more details to be announced later.* *Habitat for Humanity NCR is looking to purchase a bungalow** (1/2 double preferably in the Walkley-Heron Rd. area) for one of our partner families with two special needs children.* * * *We are looking for a reasonably priced home in need of renovation that we can make accessible for a family of 7 with a 7 year old in a wheelchair.
